About Us
We are a collective of women who believe that our faith has the potential to impact culture, lifestyle, music, fashion, love and health. We want to tell our stories in a real and relevant way to help women connect deeper with God and each other.
About Me
My name is Yolande and I’m the Editor-In-Chief of Wit + Grace Magazine. I am a professional communicator and writer living in New York City. I wanted to build a community dedicated to the stories of women of faith. A community that celebrates and roots for other women. A community that is diverse and powerful. A community that makes a mark on this world with wit and grace.
It all started one day when I was on social media and noticed that all women’s ministries or Christian bloggers’ pages looked the same. There were a lot of bible quotes and pretty pictures but there was rarely any content about social justice, work, or health. Were these topics solely reserved for secular magazines? Shouldn’t we talk about all of the issues that affect women?
That’s when Wit + Grace was born. It was born about of the need to tell the full story of who we are as women of God - we are diverse, changemakers, activists, professionals, wives, mothers, stylish, and witty. This website to dedicated to the stories of women who are making a mark on the world by helping other women overcome the challenges of everyday life - injustices, heartbreak, miscarriages, but doing it with wit and grace. I hope you’ll join us on this journey.
